I hate When People Confuse Education with Intelligence – Meaning

Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply your knowledge and skills. It has nothing to do with any degree or academical scores.

In the present situation especially in India, people are acquiring degree certificates by memorising their books or learning practical exam mockups or going to coaching centres for memorising all the answers of all previous question papers and passing examinations with their memory.

In the current world, Your any undergraduate or postgraduate degree will not be useful if you don’t have intelligence.

Years ago I wondered why companies are recruiting someone who is having high marks in examination (college toppers) instead of an intelligent person. From my personal experience I found that most of the persons who have high academical scores are less intelligent than many who are an average in examinations.

So I was recruiting candidates for my company only based on intelligence than their academical scorings.

Now a days many multi-national companies started recruiting candidates based on their intelligence instead of academical ranking.

Top companies that no longer require a university degree for some of their top jobs are Google, Apple, IBM, Ernst and Young (EY), Penguin Random house, Costco Wholesale, Whole Foods, Hilton, Publix, Starbucks, Nordstrom, Home Depot, Bank of America, Chipotle, Lowe’s, etc.

Many companies know this, but still they prefer to hire someone with good educational background because they want to filter maximum candidates. Because percentage of intelligent people in toppers is higher than with medium or people with less academical marks. So many companies don’t want to waste their time.

So if you are an intelligent person and you believe you are fit for the job vacancy of any company, contact them privately especially the HR head or manager or owner of the company via email/WhatsApp/Call and prove your talents by getting an appointment with them.
